Pest Control Youngstown OH serves Downtown Youngstown, the North Side, East Side, South Side, West Side and Brier Hill inside the city, plus the nearby communities of Boardman, Austintown, Poland and Struthers. These four are separate townships, a village and a city with their own local governments, not Youngstown neighborhoods. We are open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Pest pressure is fairly similar across the area because the climate is the same: cold, snowy winters and warm summers. What changes from street to street is the housing. A 2020 housing study for the City of Youngstown found that most city housing was built before World War II, which means more foundation gaps and older basements than in many newer suburbs.

Service area questions from Youngstown and nearby towns
Are Boardman and Austintown part of Youngstown?
No. Boardman and Austintown are townships in Mahoning County with their own trustees, and Struthers is its own city. Poland is a village inside Poland Township. We serve all four, along with the six city areas.
Do pests differ between the city and the suburbs?
The pests are mostly the same because the climate is the same. Older city housing tends to have more foundation gaps, which helps mice and insects get in. Ticks live in wooded and brushy areas, so yards that back up to woods, such as land near Mill Creek Park, deserve regular tick checks.
Who handles rats on a neighboring property in the city?
Inside Youngstown city limits, the Environmental Health Division at 9 West Front Street enforces health rules on garbage and unsanitary conditions and runs a rat control program. It requires a formal complaint and does not accept anonymous ones. For rodents inside your own home or business, call us at (888) 752-0103.
Is your service the same in every area?
Yes. Every job gets the same inspection, the same Ohio-licensed applicators and the same follow-up, whether you are downtown or in Poland. Only the plan changes, based on your building and the pest.
