Home pest plans
Recurring visits that cover ants, spiders, roaches and rodents around the whole house.
Residential pest controlPest control in Boardman, OH works best when it fits the property. Boardman is its own township directly south of Youngstown, and it mixes neighborhood homes, apartments and a busy U.S. Route 224 shopping corridor. A ranch home near a wooded lot needs a different plan than a restaurant near the mall.
We follow Integrated Pest Management, or IPM. That means we inspect, identify the pest, fix the conditions that feed it, and only then treat the problem spots. Every product is applied by an Ohio-licensed applicator following the label.

A few confirmed facts about the township, and why each one matters when we plan a visit.
The township traces its start to 1805, when Elijah Boardman gave half an acre of land for a cemetery. A township with that much history has a mix of older and newer buildings, so we never assume one plan fits every house.

Source: Boardman TownshipOSU Extension reports that eastern subterranean termites in Ohio swarm in spring and early summer. Winged termites near windows inside a Boardman home in April or May are worth a call.

Why these months: ODH says Ohio mosquito season usually runs May through October. OSU notes blacklegged ticks stay active whenever it is above freezing, with the highest risk in spring, summer and fall. Yellowjacket colonies grow all summer and reach their largest size in fall, then die off in winter.

Yes. We work with restaurants, retail stores and offices on a monitoring schedule with written service records. Food businesses are inspected by the local health district, so we focus on keeping pests out of food areas and keeping clear notes.
It is worth checking. Ohio State entomologists say blacklegged ticks are often found along trails and where lawns meet wooded areas. A yard treatment along that edge, plus keeping grass short and leaf litter cleared, lowers the chance of bringing ticks inside.
The Ohio Department of Health says mosquito season in Ohio usually runs from May through October. Emptying standing water in saucers, buckets and clogged gutters each week helps, and we can treat shady resting areas in the yard.
The CDC says a mouse can fit through a hole about 1/4 inch wide. Common entry points are gaps under garage doors, utility line openings, dryer vents and cracks along the foundation. We find and seal them as part of rodent control.
